Mutual Feelings
From the summer to fall of 2021, I wrote my first short film and the experience was incredible. Beyond serving as a way to work through some pretty important life events at the time, I learned so much more about the writing process. In February 2022, I brought the story to life with Shaded Media Group, and we’re currently in the tail end of the production process. I can’t wait to share more soon.
The New Deal (Shaded Media Group)
Since 2019, I’ve been working with my creative partner, LaQuin Alexander, as showrunner for a new drama series titled The New Deal. The fictional tale takes us to an all-Black world where corruption is abound and power is the most valuable currency. I led our writer’s room through two seasons of scripts and story development and we’re beginning fundraising and production in the fall of 2022.
